The following are just some examples of projects we have been involved in, in the past.
Industrial Press Machine Indonesia to Mexico
Our client, a leading Heavy Engineering company, was tasked with dismantling a 1500 Tonne press in Indonesia and overseeing the reassembly at their Factory in Mexico. They turned to us to co-ordinate the transport and chartering of a heavy lift vessel. With the heaviest piece weighing nearly 200 tonnes and many of the items being oversized, a considerable amount preplanning was carried out to ensure that when the shipping process commenced, the haulage company, stevedores and vessel owner worked in concert to ensure that no costly delays were encountered throughout the entire process.
Offshore Piling System UK to Baku
On behalf of our client we were asked to arrange the transport of two 110 Tonnes Piling tools plus associated equipment from the UK and Holland and arrange shipment on a geared vessel to Poti, Georgia for onward transport to Baku. Working closely with a Dutch Heavy Haulier we organised the transport to be delivered to the quayside in advance of the vessels arrival ,ensuring that there were no delays in the loading.
Steel Mill USA to Baku
The largest project we have been involved with to date. An entire steel mill had been dismantled and the task was given to us to ship the cargo to Baku in the middle of winter. We calculated a stow plan to identify the optimum heavy lift vessel which we then chartered from Rhode Island to Poti. From there the cargo was discharged and then transported overland through the mountains to Baku for reassembly. The cargo arrived so early that the mill was online and producing steel more than a month before the contract date.
